Flowers and Flower Bulbs

Intense Color and Aroma

Strong, pretty, with intense colors and aromas, Chilean flowers continue to grow in markets as demanding and experienced as the Netherlands . Chilean growers have the most advanced cold storage systems, permanent expert technical assistance and a constant supply of reproduction material. Chile is capable of offering a large variety of products. At present, it is producing 20 species, such as lilies, tulips, peonies, liatris, carnations, calla lily, protean and roses. Furthermore, Chile started exporting lilies and tulips in the early 1990s.

Cultivation of flowers and bulbs began in Chile as a counter-seasonal supply option for Northern Hemisphere markets traditionally dedicated to these products.

Technological improvements and effective efforts by Chilean entrepreneurs to reach top-level quality have given rise to a flourishing industry.
